“STYLISTA” COMING TO THE CW FALL 2008.

The project, described as a reality version of “The Devil Wears Prada,” features eleven aspiring fashion enthusiasts who are vying for a much-coveted editorial job with Elle magazine. The project, which appears Wednesday-bound as a companion piece to Banks and Mok’s “America’s Next Top Model,” was originally greenlighted in January. The contestants will work as assistants to Elle’s fashion news director, Anne Slowey, carrying out an assistant task and a fashion editorial assignment in each episode. Like on “The Apprentice,” each week, in consultation with Elle’s creative director, Joe Zee, Anne fires one person, until the last assistant standing gets “promoted” to the real-life job opportunity. The grand prize includes a paid editorial position at Elle magazine, a paid lease on an apartment in Manhattan, and a clothing allowance at H&M, all for one year, valued at $100,000. “Stylista” hails from 10 by 10 Entertainment and Bankable in association with Magic Molehill Prods. and Warner Horizon TV. Tyra Banks, Ken Mok, Eli Holzman, Desiree Gruber and Jane Cha are the exec producers.

Anne’s no Miranda, but she’s the knockoff version. A little is better than nothing, I guess. This show looks hilarious already from the clip. Making her breakfast though? A tad extreme. I see a lot of carbs on those plates..and you know fashion people just say NO MA’AM to carbs. lol, jk. And I’m also going to need Anne to look like she knows how to walk in heels. Stat.

Okay, so I originally planned to just post this fab pic of Vicky B. walking the streets Monday out & about in London but I came across some recent news on the fashion diva & designer. Word has it that Victoria was personally hired by Tom Cruise to work on the film, Hardy Men (based of the popular children’s book series The Hardy Boys) She will be designing the costumes for the movie and also have a small cameo appearance. Word also on the fashion street is that Victoria and Katie Holmes may no longer be BFF’S ! *Hand over mouth*.. Read the full story here.

How can you not love this song? I would love to walk out to this song on anybody’s runway. Well, once I learn how to walk first. ( Miss J. Alexander holler at me boo!) Anywho, “Everyone Nose” definitely gets me amped up when I’m partying it up like fashionista & emerging socialite, ha. I kid. The video was shot by amazing director Diane Martel. I love the cinematography of the video. It’s so vintage rock & roll glam. Cameos appearances include celebs Lindsay Lohan & Kanye West. Check it out.
